Yeah, credit cards are always an option. I think they might have bank transfer too for corporate stuff, but for individuals, it's mostly cards.

Yeah, I got a student discount for a seminar last year. You usually have to provide proof of enrollment, like a student ID. It's not always advertised front and center but they definitely have them sometimes.

How do PHILPMA's certs compare to PMI's PMP? Is it worth getting a CPM from PHILPMA if I'm already looking at PMP?

They're different for sure. PMI is more globally recognized, but PHILPMA is strong locally here in the Philippines. Depends on where you plan to work.

CPM is good if you're staying in the local scene and want to show commitment to local standards. PMP is the global gold standard though, so if international opportunities are on your radar, that's probably the way to go first.
